The Fisherman!

We watched this heron for about 10 minutes yesterday evening when we were out for a walk on the shore. He was a proficient fisherman, he caught about 8 tiny fish in the time we were watching. It was a successful walk - we also saw 6 swans, numerous gulls, and a pair of terns! The terns were fascinating to watch as they swooped and dived, so agile and fast.
