The Great Blasket Islands

Normally, because of the ferry bookings, you can only stay on the island for 3 hours. This year we made special arrangements to go on the fist ferry and come home on the last, so that we had time to walk round the main island and climb to the top at a leisurely pace. We walked about 6 miles and climbed about 1000 feet.

It was a bit of a hazy day but good weather for walking.
