Canal boats and wild birds.

It is a gorgeous warm sunny day and the wind is more like a breeze.
I have been for an hour long canal walk.
There was plenty to see this morning, including two lively squirrels, a family of ducks with ducklings that are growing up fast, and some chirpy moorhen chicks. Several cyclists and dog walkers were on the path too.
These canal boats had come from York and the beautiful hand painted jug was an ideal part of today's collage.
The Canal View cafe cooks wholesome food and all at £4. I noticed strawberry tart was on the menu too.
Time for a brew and tennis.
