Today's the day …………………… to be in the money - again

Another coin was found today on the Tongland Abbey dig but this time I was there when it happened.

And this one is in much better condition than the last one.  So it really is possible (ForthPorts!) to make out the 'C' 'O' 'B' 'V' 'S' of 'Jacobus' which would make it belonging to one of the King James's of Scotland and dating to the late15th century.

It's incredible to think it has lain buried and undisturbed for the past 500 years …………………..
