Scarce Blue Tailed Damselfly

I've spent a happy day moving stuff about in the garage so I can finally finish painting the floor. 

Farewell, concrete dust. Goodbye, messy garage. Hello, shiny grey floor - and I can still even get to the pinball table for a quick game or ten while it's curing!

In between games and in between occasional coffee breaks in the sun, I came across a half dozen or so of these fellows. Scarce Blue Tailed damselfly Ischnura pumilio. Nationally scarce, they are more prevalent in Gloucestershire. 

This was the best shot of the whole head and body, although another head shot showed a rather delightful half eaten brown nymph bug.
