Lunch

My oldest friend Jenny arrived today. She’s not been able to stay with us for a few years as she was caring for her husband who has dementia. She finally accepted she couldn’t cope and he is in a very nice care home. She’s gradually coming to accept things and decided to come down to stay the night.

I made these tasty and interesting salads for lunch.

After a bad night for pain I got a phone appointment with one of our GPs who prescribed oramorph, to be taken alongside the Paracetamol and codeine and Amitriptilyn.

Jenny was a consultant anaesthetist so approves of what I’m having. She brought a TENS machine which is also helping. At last the pain is more manageable.
