Tough Times

Sam has been home four weeks Sunday, she has applied for at least a dozen seasonal jobs, full or part time - no luck so far but it would be nice if people had the courtesy to respond.

She has paid her deposit for next years Uni accommodation but doesn’t yet know if she will get accommodation, neither does she know anything about last year’s deposit yet. It seems to me that if the university responded with the same alacrity with which they bombard the students e-mail in boxes asking for payments in June for a September term start all might be a little happier.

Meanwhile she is cleaning out her bedroom and working to the principle of; “if I haven’t used/worn it for six months I don’t need it”. The local for sale sites could see a sudden influx of goods for sale in the coming fortnight.
