Armed Forces Day Plymouth
Sam and I were on the 8:30 train out of Falmouth, 1015 into Plymouth, it was already warm when we arrived.
Sam went off to meet friends, I headed for the Hoe, I like AFD.
I met up with my eldest daughter Sarah, son-in-law Manolo and their friends, we briefly got separated before meeting for a beer and then they headed off for a boat trip and a Plymouth Gin tour.
I met up with a couple of old friends, had a couple of tots of rum and a coffee or two before meeting up with Sam.
More coffee before heading home, tired and burnt, to be met at Truro by Clare. Chip shop sausage and chips before falling into bed tired.
Today’s picture is a poor one of HMS Queen Elizabeth, the Navy’s new aircraft carrier, shown on the right.
