Hot, Hot, Hot!!!
We had no intention to do much today. The forecast was up to 39 degrees. Which is VERY hot!
Nonetheless we walked over the flea market in the early afternoon. It was deserted and only half the size than usual.
We went to Chapter One for a coffee, but could only face iced coffees. It was too hot.
We somehow managed to walk over the whole lengths of the street festival, which was some achievement in this weather.
Back home we cooled down a bit, then headed off to Huxleys to see if we could get tickets for the Ministry concert.
We were lucky and got one half price!
As it was still 38 degrees at 8 pm we could not face the idea to get into the venue and lingered outside in the shadow.
That's where we met Nikolai, who owns the flat above us. He is a successful defence lawyer, but we met him last year accidentally at the Nine #inch Nail gig and somehow expected him here tonight.
He was on his own and we spent the evening together.
The gig was great! we had a lot of fun and drank a lot of water, as we were sweating like crazy in the hall.
After the gig we went for a beer and chatted until late.
Nikolai is our age and our gig history and music taste is quite matching.
We were home after 1 am.
Tomorrow is our last day here and we have another gig to go to in the evening.
I am considering seeing Ministry again on Wednesday in Glasgow :)
Sorry for the bad blip, but it was tooooo hot to think about taking photos ... this is our iced coffees :)
