All tucked in...

We arrived back on the Lane around 2PM, got the RV cleaned and unloaded, and had a snack. Reflecting on our first RV adventure...

So many of the things that seemed really simple when Mom and Dad explained it turned out to be mystifying.

It’s hard to drive this big thing when it’s windy

We’re not sure if we really know what the hell we are doing

But we plan to do it again very SOON! Because it really was great fun.

Already scoping out locations for the next weekend escape.

Meanwhile back in the lane ...pretty sure both boxes of baby wrens fledged. Work appears to be underway to use one of the boxes for a second brood - sticks are being removed and replaced and songs are being sung. (If you look closely here, you can just make out the little Wren sitting on top of the box just beyond the RV). The bluebird parents are feeding their babies who are chirping wildly whenever food is delivered.
