It’s been very hot today. I didn’t do much except read in the garden. I’m enjoying ‘The Lido’ by Libby Page.

We took Alf, Pops and Alice out for dinner in Saffron Walden. It feels like they’ve properly left school now that prom is over.

After dropping the children back at home D and I walked up to the brewery for a couple and caught the last few songs of what sounded like an excellent set.
