Another Gift

Dropped my other half in Stoke town centre for today's match, but not before we enjoyed a spot of lunch together with our son at the White Star.

My son, belly full, then enjoyed a snooze in his pram, while the buses lined up alongside Stoke Minster ready to take supporters to the Britannia Stadium. I took a long route back to the carpark and came across this creation on the corner of Kingsway and Glebe Street. So here is my first ever journal photo!

So what is it? Well, a few clicks on the interent this evening have told me it's a stainless steel sculpture installed in 2005 and designed by Liz Lemon. I smiled that it's called 'Another Gift' given the festive time of year we are just coming out of.

I then spent the afternoon, playing with my lovely son and his Christmas gifts .... mainly of the plastic, brightly coloured and very noisy variety!
