Man on Stilts

A small parade passed our house, with two girls carrying a sign that said "Pilgrimage to La Señora de La Soledad", which is the Basilica around the corner. The parade consisted of several pick-up trucks pulling trailers with parts of carnival rides (children included), a boy dressed as a king sitting on a throne, this guy on stilts, two people wearing enormous doll-like costumes, and many people walking along with them. And of course there was a band and some fireworks!
