Norwegian waffles

We stayed for coffee at a cozy garden cafe. We ate Norwegian waffles, the owner (lady on the shot carrying the dishes) is from Norway. I do not know what really distinguishes them from other waffles. The waffle was slightly thicker and softer than the usual. It was served with two kinds of jam, creme fraiche and brown cheese. I abstained from the cheese. I have eaten it earlier and not liked it. In Sweden waffles are served with whipped cream, not creme fraiche. Otherwise the waffle was good and the coffee was good and the garden cozy to sit in under the shade of the trees this hot day.
