Playing the Potter

It was a real hot day (92F),
so we played in clay.

From the table we did not stray,
as we molded in the clay.

What did I make on this day of clay?
Some fish, a snake, and a bird of prey.

It was fun forming clay,
with my favorite wee fellow.
Merrick made a ball,
and a s'more of marshmallow.

Don't think this will be on my resume...

Merrick used the clay of color, which we bake in the oven. My white stuff is air-dry, and 7 hours later...it is still drying.
