We waved hello ......

....... and we waved goodbye.

A flying visit to London, to meet up with friends. From all parts of the UK, Peru and Australia. J met them first on the same university course many many years ago. Apart from us, most are now retired.

One of the group has been one of the leading lights in the redevelopment of St Pancras and the area behind Kings Cross, although he retired in March. As we were eating later at St Pancras, we started off with a guided tour.

I took this shot inside one of the four converted gas holders on the site. This Holder encloses a mini park (Gas Holder Park), with lots of mirrored surfaces making it seem larger than it is. The other three enclose apartments (extra). They are not selling quickly. Prices range from £2m up to £22m. It’s a very different world down here.
