Roses

Went to see Mum over in the west with P this morning.   Lovely day and spent far too much time in the car.   Had planned to go rowing early evening but there was a stiff breeze and so we could get out.  P went surfing with his friend down on the beach but there weren't many waves.  

The early blooms of my roses were affected by rain and some of the larger cabbage heads have been disappointing.  This bush next to the potting shed was cut back in the winter and is amazing.   It has hundreds of blooms.
