Waterlily Festival

It's been really sunny and warm again today, but still very windy which is making it impossible to sit out!  However, I had a lunch date in Lewes with Vanessa, and as I had some time to kill, I drove to Sheffield Park Gardens to have a look at the water lilies which are looking pretty spectacular.  

I spent an hour wandering round and taking photos, and then it was time for me to head to Lewes  to meet Vanessa at Bills.  We managed to get a table outside in the sun and spent a nice  hour or so catching up over lunch.  When we'd finished, I went to the supermarket to stock up on food, and then headed home.

Tonight, Xena has come to Zumba, and I think she enjoyed it.  I'm tired though and seem to be coming down with a cold, so I'm about to go to sleep and have had a dose of Night Nurse.
