Thursday stroll

Tonight after work I had a visit from a colleague who has been on maternity leave and is coming back to work month. She brought her lovely little son David with her and making the most of the good weather we went for a stroll with my two children as well.

In advance my son made a fish trap with a plastic bottle and spent most of the time sat on the bank of the stream trying to catch something.

We walked and talked and it was so lovely to see her doing so well.

This photo is of my son’s bottle and he did indeed catch something although we aren’t sure what it was! It looked like a very small shrimp but we don’t know what it was.

He put the specimen back in the stream and we waited back before heading out to his ‘land training’.

Afterwards it was dinner and getting ready for school and work tomorrow!
