Strawberry picking

This evening I had the rare opportunity to do something on my own for an hour! The children were out, my husband still working so I decided to go to our local pick your own and left with a punnet of strawberries.

It was very peaceful as at 6.30 I guess most children had left and so I wandered the rows of plants all on my own.

There is also a wooded area I took a walk down which we lovely and peaceful and it was so lovely just to be in nature and take in the sounds of the birds and the leaves blowing and be totally absorbed in the natural beauty of our world.

The strawberries were delicious and appreciated by the family when they all got home.
