Emergency Blip

It rained and rained and rained.
I kept myself busy with paperwork and completing a special project.
By early afternoon, I was going stir crazy.
Eldest son and I nipped to the butchers and sneaked a late lunch in a wee cafe.
A single glimmer of light broke through later when I dropped my daughter off for orchestra rehearsals.
Every day, there seems to be a more light, even though midsummer has passed.
That can only be good.
