The Morning After the Night Before...

Eldest son had a BBQ last night as a late celebration of his 18th birthday (which happened right in the middle of his exams!) and the end of his, and most of his friends, school days.
Lots of alcohol consumed (mostly legally allowed), lots of laughter, lots of warmth and camaraderie...Rap music followed by Abba!
It was lovely to see them all full of exuberance and enthusiasm as they get ready to face the big wide world.
So many criticise our youth these days, but I think we have no grounds to be concerned...not if the 20+ examples that invaded my house and garden have anything to go by!
