Pemaquid Point, Maine
For the next couple of days, we will be exploring a bit of Maine's coast with Jackson. We are staying in the city of Bath, where the Bath Iron Works makes navy ships on the Kennebec River. There is a wonderful maritime museum here which we will be visiting tomorrow. Today, we drove further "down east" to Pemaquid Point, which has a very scenic lighthouse, and wonderful long granite rocks which slope down to the ocean. Here is a collage showing Mr. W and Jackson at the top of the lighthouse, as well as exploring the rock pools down along the shore. As you can see, we had a picture postcard perfect day for this expedition! Jackson tasted his first bit of lobster at lunch today, as well as his first fried clam, although he stuck with the tried and true cheeseburger for his meal.
