Stripes and seagull
I almost managed equal stripes!
When I look at Hythe beach from above I can see the waves. When one gets to seal level, the waves disappear and this line appears. This is because the shingle beach is steeply shelved, something to do with longshore drift and wave type - or so I am told. It is why the beach is popular with anglers - they can set up on the 'shelf' and then cast far out to sea - or so I am told.
We walked along to get a lovely fish lunch and then we left an apartment we have grown very fond of and headed for the first stage on our way home.
