Hydrangea In December?

This weather we've had this year has been unusual...much like the rest of the US, things have not been typical. We have still not had a hard freeze, and are in the record book this year adding days daily to the old record. When we will get a freeze only Old Man Winter knows for sure:)

For example, this is my hydrangea bush which should normally be VOID of any leaves, but here it is in it's "winter splendor"? I don't think I've ever seen the leaves quite this color, and it deserves a blip, don't you think?
