Brunch on the beach

All the girls gathered here this morning and, after coffee and much fun with the apartment's door video intercom, we walked a few minutes along the promenade and the beach, to Griggs of Hythe, the fish people. They were serving brunch at tables on the beach - perfect. Fish and chips at 10 in the morning - no problem for a hungry seven year old. 

Then we walked back and some were searching for shells, not easy on a beach made up of millions of pebbles - see extra 1. And what does a seven year old do with her finds - see extra 2. 

(This was a kind of belated Father's Day get together, except Dad/Grandad was missing - he was in Guildford for a meeting.)
