As lovely as our Christmas break was it is always lovely waking up in your own bed, as we did this morning. We also had the pleasure of Dilan staying with us for a couple of nights and he spent the day in town meeting up with his cousin, Caitlin.

We spent the day at home, rebuilding the trampoline at the bottom of the garden, alongside the seesaw, and reorganising the kids toys whilst discreetly filling bags with old toys that they'll (hopefully) never miss. The kids had great fun playing around, both indoors and out, despite the cold and drizzly weather.

I feel that things are slowly but surely starting to return to normal. Well, apart from the fact that it's 11.30pm and Miss A is steadfast refusing to sleep. Ahhhh.....
