The alternative family portrait

It was home time today, but we couldn't leave without one last play of the toys. The keyboard/mic/drums set was the surprise hit of all the presents. Miss A, Little D and Leni were playing with it constantly and we saw a completely new side to Miss A, who was blasting our Christmas carols whilst the two boys drummed alongside. She certainly has a performing streak in her which we'll need to explore further.

I took some family photos before we left as it'll be a while before we're all together again. They didn't turn out as well as I'd thought so we'll just have to get our backsides over to Mallorca soon for another attempt.

Back to Edinburgh, into softplay and catching up with cousins and friends. Lovely but way too fleeting. Then it was onto The Dome for our annual (extended) family dinner. Again lovely but so tiring constantly running after Little D. This family portrait is courtesy of Nicola, it certainly brought a smile to my face!
