We were up at 4am to catch a flight to Venice. The flight was delayed for over an hour as all the check-in systems at LBA had gone down so they were having to do everything manually. We then had to sit on the plane on the tarmac whilst they took all the bags out of the hold and checked them from a list as they had more bags than they should have done when they counted them!

It was eventually a good flight, a bit cloudy over the alps but beautiful as we came into land in Venice.

The extra is of the lovely Hotel Garden Sea in Caorle where we are staying for a week, they have completely refurbished it and extended it by two floors over the winter .
