Put Out More Flags!

It must be Festival time in the Borders.  Every town has its day : horses groomed, bands practiced, ritual remembered, and of course, bunting up in the town colours. 

Ours are scarlet and royal, and the High Street is already criss-crossed, even though things don't kick of here for a couple of weeks.

Melrose is also en fete. Looking at the shops in their High Street, you might have the idea that they are celebrating the bumble-bee, all is decked in black and yellow. But if you are a follower of Borders rugby, you'll know the truth of the matter, Melrose's colours are black and yellow.
