Flag Iris

These have just started flowering in the garden, and I love them.

Had coffee in the morning with friends at the centre, and in the afternoon headed up the Farm Road to shop; it was sunny and quite warm at 17C, but with lots of clouds, including some dark ones.  However, apart from one very heavy shower it remained dry for the afternoon.  Have put an extra in of the Farm Road.

Checked up on my grandson Andrew who is on a charity cycle run today from Aberdeen to Galashiels.  He made it to from Aberdeen to Dundee today and is now getting food and drink and hopefully resting before an even longer ride tomorrow.  He is a big strong fellow, but he is my grandson and I want him to be safe!
