Wood on Wednesday

I was hoping they were real,
that would be my wish.
Because of the obvious fact...
YOU CAN'T EAT WOODEN FISH!

I wish I had magic powers,
I wish I had some clout.
Because...if I did...
these would be edible trout.

The piece turned out OK,
these trout of the rainbow.
Plus...they do have names...
they are van Gogh and Cicero.
