Light and dark

This morning the ponds nature reserve was being assessed for a Green Flag Award and I was invited to go along with the Ranger. It was a beautiful day and everything was looking good.
There are still 6 ducklings, much grown, and the cygnet is still being well looked after. 
There are a good number of flowers, including the rose in the extra.
The rest of the day was spent mainly in the garden,about 3/4 gardening and 1/4 sitting.
I had a meeting this evening and cycled there so the car has not moves all day.
