Be My Baby Tonight

Hearing the call of a tiny bird somewhere close and then the Mum a Sedge Warbler, giving warning cries chirping in the bushes, I stopped. Obviously I go birding with a macro lens ....... however very carefully sidling forward I managed to get so very close even with the dogs at my heels who were as good as gold. I was so chuffed to see the babies out and about flitting over the reeds that I was in two minds as to whether to back home and get another lens but thought better of it.

Walking the dogs on the canal bank just like yesterday it started to rain again but I was a happy bunny as I thought I'd got my blip in the bag so to speak with a Blue-tailed Damselfly in the Extras.
