Emerald

Taking a risk to walk the dogs between showers we tumbled out of the car and almost on cue it started to rain again! However not to be deterred, the dogs enjoying it far more than me as I've a stinking cold, we pottered for a bit and I caught this beautiful emerald damsel hanging on a grass stalk.

Wandering into the kitchen tonight I just came almost face to face with a roe deer only ten foot away from the window. We were both startled, the dogs  started going ballistic and she bolted. What a shame! 

My green woodie in Extra came back for a visit this afternoon and I really hope these visits continue.
