Chihuly at Kew

Today was Mr U&L and my 40th wedding anniversary, and to celebrate we had a trip out to Kew gardens to see the amazing Chihuly glass sculpture.
Well, it was just mind blowing! I love glass at the best of times, but this was something else! 
I took so many shots it was hard to condense them down to just a few extras - but I had to so.... 
Extra 1 is some of the beautiful globe thistles in the border.
Extra 2 a fledgling Robin that came oh so close

Mr U7L and I finished the day by buying a red piece of glass sculpture for our garden.
Would I go and visit again? - in a heartbeat! I am already planning the next trip....it would make an amazing blipmeet?
