South African Nostalgia

This is not my picture! It is my picture of a picture which is part of a South African Photographic Exhibtion shown at the Open Eye Gallery, Liverpool.

The exhibition shows South African scenes taken through the eyes and camera lenses of David Goldblatt.

Goldblatt offers no answers to problematic political situations; he doesn't seem to applaud nor condemn; he simply displays his captions to his pictures as he did in his original publication: The Structure of Things Then.
