Manhattan at dusk

As we only have 1 day to go mum wanted to do some shopping so we left her in Macy’s for a couple of hours whilst we went to the NY public library which is an incredibly huge old building.they had a Stonewall 50 exhibition, Love & Resistance, which was really interesting.
We then headed to the East Village, very Shoreditch like, with funky little shops, bars and restaurants, and lots of Mumford and Sons looking folk. We loved it.
I found a sports bar and watched England women narrowly beat Argentina, hooray.
Next we headed to Brooklyn Heights for an early dinner and a walk on the promenade to see the sun set on Manhattan and the skyscrapers gradually light up. Amazing view from Brooklyn.
