Dancing ...

the Tarantella!
Eda loves to dance so there was no stopping her when she tried on her Flamenco costume, brought back from my Spanish holiday and Grace put some music on.
I think she likes it!

Later, whilst Chris went off to church and John went for a run, Grace and I took Eda up to Coppice Pond to see the wild life.
Not sure which she was most pleased with, the water fowl or the numerous dogs but she did a lot of quacking!
We took swan and duck food so we fed the swans, young cygnets, geese and ducks. It’s hard for Eda to throw the food far enough into the water but the young cygnets - quite large ugly ducklings now - now have long enough necks to reach over the edge to retrieve the food she has thrown. She was first to spot the sole duckling and around the far side of the pond a tiny black Moorhen was seen under the branches of overhanging trees where they nest.

Back home it was family lunch with Uncle Alex.

Quite warm and sultry for most of the day but it is raining now and of course they have all gone home. A great flying visit. Eda making so many new developments with her language and dexterity now. So much to miss until we see her again next month!
