Rain gauge

Every birthday (see yesterday) deserves a nice present.

With all the rain we have had in recent weeks, what better object than a rain gauge?

Here it is, with the rainfall gathered today from 11.00 to 16.00

I can tell you that in our garden we have had 1mm.

PS A rain gauge is also known as an udometer, pluviometer or ombrometer.


This barometer was a previously weather-centric birthday present in years gone by.
