Caught red footed

Just when I had declared victory over the squirrels at the bird feeder, a new pest arrives.

You can see as part of the anti-squirrel action, that the peanuts WERE tied up with string and wire to prevent access.

Something has untied them and the pigeons have been dipping their greedy beaks into the peanuts.

I have now welded it shut with an oxyacetylene torch and brought out various weapons of mass destruction to combat these feathered thieves.
