Rhododendrons
A full day in the workshop for MrM, while I spent the day on the accounts. Slow progress, but in the right direction!
So it was late afternoon before we drove down to Alnwick for a meal at Carlo's followed by a supermarket shop. Stopped briefly on the way there for a couple of shots of Old Bewick Hill, where the rhododendrons are in flower.
Almost 9.00pm by the time we drove back. But we decided to take advantage of the light evening, and stopped for a walk at Branton Lakes. Got half way round one of the lakes and had to turn back. The roads might have dried up after yesterday's floods, but access to the little footbridge over the stream was cut off (extra). We should have worn wellies!
