First Dahlia

We've had a fairly quiet day: a cycle via the pretty route to the supermarket to pick up ingredients for tonight's dinner, a swim before lunch and a spot of gardening this afternoon, followed by watching the closing stages of England's win against West Indies in the cricket World Cup. Hoping the women's football team will be equally successful against Argentina tonight.

This is the first dahlia flower of the summer in our garden in some welcome sun this afternoon.
