Improving picture

How nice it was to see the sun again this afternoon.  The rain had cleared away by mid morning and now the waters are receding around the house.  I can use the front door again.  The cafe was quiet again this morning so there was plenty of time to chat with the other volunteers.  The  hospital car park has a new camera operated system which seems to throw out £70 penalty notices for non infringements.  Of course, the car park is privately run so an appeal has had to be submitted explaining at length the circumstances and encouraging them not to penalise volunteers.
