Say Hey to Rufus!

Rufus is the latest addition to our Street - he stays two doors down and I popped out to perform a science experiment tonight.

In the last few decades I’ve developed an allergy to animals - if the cats scratch me even by accident I’ll start sneezing and wheezing and itching.

If I pet a dog with a slobbery nose - unless i run straight in and remove clothing and wash from my armpits down to my arms and back up again I’m a lost cause. Eyes swell up, run with water, I itch I cough....

But even more recently - six hours after I met Dexter and six hours after i met Liam - I started throwing up.

Nothing else around that could explain it... so tonight I took the risk and went out and said hello to Rufus properly and now I count down six hours to see if I end up throwing up again; and then I’ll know for sure if I have to stay away from Doggies forever
