Where's that higher love, I've been dreaming of?

Weird old weather today.    -  it was raining this morning, and most of the afternoon.

I pottered about the garden even in the rain, and pondered the fact that despite the builders being finished next door- there was still banging and screwing and hammers ongoing.

The shed has disappeared now.  God ony know what is going to arrive.

By 3, I was feeling discontented and needed to "work".  so we headed up to the allotment, with a box full of plants.

I planted 74 leeks.  24 Sweet pea; fennel, celery and beetroot.

My back was killing me by the time i finished - that and the weeding, but At least I felt satisfied that i had expended some energy.

The plot looks amazing just now -everything growing and everything so green.  It's a very pleasing sight.

The garlic, every year has defeated us.  - this year we have been excited in the anticipation of what we might get.  When we planted them in October  nothing happened.

Onions came up - Garlic  not a movement.

And then suddenly they started.  The stalks were so thick, we were eager to see- so often it looks like something is happening, and underneath - nothing.

We contemplated it today - and then decided to pull one out to see.   It wouldn't move.   - We had to get the tool.  Once it was wiggled Si pulled with all his might!

Look at it!! look at it!    If we get nothing else - this one will keep up going for a couple of months.
