Cross Country

Early morning, for me, taxi to New Street and then the Cross Country train to Berwick on Tweed in Northumberland. Train was quite sparse of passengers but the running commentry from the guard was quite amusing.
A great deal of ground water was visible in the fields and at one stage the train was diverted adding about 40 minutes to the journey time.
Steve and Keels were at the station and off we set for their house in Bamburgh.
