A fine old Projector

A chilly day with a strong breeze

Despite the chilly weather we headed for Bowmore on Windermere where we had a good walk around the shore and the town. Down by the shore there was a lot of emergency vehicles, including a helicopter. The emergency went on for quite some time before the helicopter took off. We heard later on the radio that a man had been pulled from the water but had sadly died.

Later on, back in Kendal, we went to the Cinema to see Aladdin which was a fun recreation of the old story. It was in an amazing Arts Complex and we saw this very old Projector in the foyer. The modern ones will be much smaller but I appreciated the robust design of this one.

The weather is set to take a sharp downturn tomorrow but we will find something to do on our last full day before heading home.
