A lovely drive

A lovely drive on Highway One from Carmel to Pismo beach by San Luis Obispo today. A short stop at Big Sur, at the Sea Lion place where we both fell asleep snoring in the car, and a stop and a bite at the entrance building and museum to Hearst castle. A trip up to the castle would have taken too long. Went around in the Hearst museum though to learn about the histoty of the dynasty. Ended up at our hotel in the afternoon early enough to get a good dinner at a near by fish restaurant. Surfers waiting for the big wave to come at the extra on Pismo beach.
