Fantastic Fotographer Friend

This morning our friend Carl arrived. He's a brilliant photographer and has come on a mini photo tour of the island. I am SO looking forward to learning from him. 
We spent the afternoon at Todd and Stephen's place, playing their pool and having a late lunch...then after the kids were tucked up in bed Carl and I headed out with our cameras. We left about 8.30 and got back just after midnight. I loved loved loved chatting shots through etc...we had fun zooming in and out whilst leaving the shutter open and just experimenting! At one point I got told off by a security guy as I went to photograph the sunset reflected on a boat...apparently I could have been paparazzi! 
A super fun evening. 

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Danny being willing to let me go out for hours at a time with my camera!
2) Todd and Stephen's hospitality.
3) Carl being here and willing to teach and share.
